I-94 Number Different in system from paper copy

Hi

 

We are in the process of applying for GC for our parents. Since their arrival here, we took a vacation in Mexico with them. Their I-94 in the passport was not touched in the process.

 

Now, as I was retrieving the I-94 number, I see that the number in the system from DHS website is different from the one we have the paper copy for. 

 

Would really appreciate the guidance on following questions --

 

+ When applying for GC and they ask for I-94, should we use the latest one in the system?

+ Will it be okay to show a print out of the website?
