H1B-EAD married to US citizen

I am currently an H1B holder-but no job right now-and recently married to a US citizen.

My I-485 and the form I-130 are still in process.

 

Some shop called me if I am interested to work with their client. And now, their client wants me

to work with them. And I will start on Monday.

 

Which is better, to use my existing H1B(the transfer will takes time) or apply for Employment Authorization to Work?

Please advice.

 

By the way, I already have my receipt from USCIS. In this letter I have an Alien/USCIS number. Can I use this in filing USCIS form I-9 rather than my existing H1B?

Since you havent been working on H1B...its Invalid. You can get EAD and start working.

You should not work before getting proper authorization.

Would you rather help yourself by getting the help of say the firm of Murthy or any of your choice regarding the matter? As the spouse of an USC you are almost bullet proof in their eyes. 401(K)... Look it up.
