I had an interview at 10:30 AM and I reached the consulate at 9:00 AM and they allowed me in right away , for some of them who had interviews at 10.30 they didn't allow asked them to wait till 10 don't know the reason....then had my docs checked and security check done by 09:15 AM and after the finger prints I finally went to the 20th floor around 10:00 AM. My token number called to Counter 6 there was a white male as VO. Me: Hello ,Good morning sir. How r u Doing? VO: Gm,I am doing good. How about you? Me: Good. VO:Is this your 1st H1B? Me: Yes Sir VO: DId you study in US? Me: Yes Sir,i Did my Master's VO: Whats your Major? Me: CS VO: From Which Univ? Me: XXXX VO:When did you graduate? Me:XYZ VO:What did you do After you graduation till your H1B?? Me: Worked on OPT VO: For the Same Employer? Me:Nope,Initially for ABC then XYZ VO:Can i See you Offer letter? Me:Given VO:Do you work at your Employer Location? Me: No Sir, i am working at Client Location VO:WHo'z your Client? Me: told VO: So, Where DO you live? Me : XXXX VO: Do you like that Place? Me: Yes sir, Blah Blah Blah VO:Can i see your Drivers license? Me: Given VO: Ohh, DO u live at this place , i have been to this place very peaceful and good for families.... Me: Yes sir blah blah blah VO:Do u have your family in US? Me: nope, they are in india.. VO: Are YOur married? Me: Nope, I am Single VO: DO u have Kids?? ME : With a Surprised Face... nopeeeeeee i said i am singleee... VO: it can happen right? you can have kids ..with a smiling face.. Me: Yaaaa with a smiling face... VO: Can i see your LCA, Paystubs Me: Given,Verified evrything ...Address,salary etc VO: So your Salary is More in your offer letter than wat you have mentioned in LCA Me: By looking at my performance my employer increased my salary sir...etc VO: You must be happy with it??? Me: Yes sirrrr VO:SO you said you work for a client do u have any letter from them?? Me: yes sir, Given VO: Whats your role? responsibilities? Me: Told ...for 2mins VO: He read my client letter line by line.... Me: Patiently Waiting.......Then VO: He was typing something ...For 4-5mins ... no questions nothingggggggggg not even looking at me..... Me: Waiting waiting .... Then the Golden Words .... VO: Your Visa Got Approved....Collect your passport from Loomis in 5 business days and given white paper Me: Thank you very much sir...Thank you ..Have a good Day Total 5 members (H1B) attended the interview today all got approved... I did not update my license, it has my old address. Its not sure that VO asks everybody to show the DL. If you are having a doubt better take a local DL and go for stamping. Anyhow it depends on which Location VO visits. Link to comment

I did not update my license, it has my old address. its not my current...Almost Same address..Just the building number is different...Point is he is verifying whether your living in that place or not ...so keep same state license where your working...
