gmanjesh
I have my Green card for a month now - Me and my wife are planning for a extended india trip I work for a usa comapny full time and my wife doesnot work. I can work from home so can I go to India in sep and come back for a week in december and go back again to India and come back later in mid april. Will such a long extended stay cause any thing to mine or my wifes green card?. I know we cant stay for more than 6 months outside the country so a 1 week visit in between is it ok ? Link to comment
omshiv
Abuse of GC..As a Permenent Resident you need to stay here more than your home country. Although that shouldnt be an issue..make sure the VO at POE doesnt warn you. Link to comment
t75
You applied for a GC so you could live and work in the US. Taking a job outside the US can be used as evidence of abandoning your GC. Link to comment
tusharvk
do you maintain residence in the US? How long is this arrangement going to continue? Surprising that the company will allow you to do this from your home in India. Link to comment
