Selecting us embassy other than what you entered in DS-160

Hello Everyone, 

 

I was planning for H1-B stamping, My friend suggested me to Vancouver, so i selected Vancouver in my DS-160 form, after having the conformation number, i  could not find dates in Vancouver for at least until November. 

 

can you some one let me know if i can select ottawa instead of Vancouver even though my confirmation page from DS-160 shows Vancouver as my Embassy location or do I have to create a new application for Ottawa.

Have you submitted the filled in DS 160 if not fill the new one.

Alternatively you can fill new DS 160 and email to Ottawa consulate to update the same.

If you did not submitt the DS160, you can edit the consulate location at the end of the form.
