STEM extension pending- More than 180days

Hello,

 

I have timely filed for my extension in Oct 2012. I was given a RFE in Jun 2013 to provide more evidence. My post 12 months OPT ended on Dec 2013 and I am beyond my 180 days employment authorization.

I  have submitted my response to RFE this week and will that reset the clock on 180 days employment authorization? Can I continue to work?
