satishkar
My case there were layoffs in the company 10 days after the PERM was filed. There were no layoff for 6 months prior to when PERM was filed. Will this affect my PERM processing any way. Should I expect audits etc? I'm in the 6th year of H1b and have only 6 months left on H1 from the date of PERM filing so any audits would mean I have to leave the country. Link to comment
Jyothis
I would suggest you be prepared for the worst case scenario. Talk to an attorney with specifics. There might be processing delays and six months is really very short time to work with. No one can predict audits either. This is one of the reasons people should not wait till the sixth year to start the process. Link to comment
