Filing I485 without I130 approvall

Hi,

 

I currently have a I-130 petition filed (in March 2012) but not yet approved, via my spouse (GC holder). And based on the August 2013 USCIS bulletin, Priority date is current for filing I-485.

1. Can I file my I 485 while waiting for the I130 to get approved?

2. Additionally, Can I file Adjustment of Status with my I485. Note> I am on a L1B visa.

 If yes, please provide the USCIS link or details from personal experience.

3.If Not, please suggest if a concurrent filing of the I130 and I485 is possible and it needs retracting the original I130 petition.

When the PD becomes current (i.e., August 1), you can file an I-485 even without the I-130 approved.
