Adjustment of status

My employer filed I140 in June 1999 and my I140 got approved in July 2000 under EB2 category. Due to family reasons we moved back to India and my I140 is still active and not revoked by my employer. Now i have 2 questions

1. Can i file for adjustment of status ?

2. Can it be done from India ?

3. Is this case still valid or do i have to be with same employer ?

Your I-140 may be active...but is the job still available? If it is, then you may consider CP. Adjustment of Status (I-485) is done while you are in the US. CP is done when you are in your home country.
