deepu224959 Posted July 9, 2013 Report Share Posted July 9, 2013 Hi, I came to us through one company and i started my visa transfer to my employer in march,today i came to know its declined.i have stamped visa in my passport till 2014 sep. So,please let me know what is my current status and how to proceed from here. Any suggestions is much appriciated. Link to comment

JoeF Posted July 9, 2013 Report Share Posted July 9, 2013 The visa stamp is irrelevant. The H1 petition matters. The old employer was required by law to inform USCIS that you no longer work there, and that would have resulted in revocation of the old H1 petition. Some rather shady and clueless employers don't get the petition revoked, but why would anybody work for such employers? Link to comment
