H1B Approved- Opt extn RFE

My Initial OPT expired back in FEB, working on grace period eligibility by end of this July  the grace period 180 days will be over.

My H1B is from OCT received RFE on OPT 17 JUN.

Can i work Aug and Sept month if i reply back to my RFE?

My OPT was expired in Aug and H1B visa started from Oct. I have worked in Aug and Sep and had no problem. You may ask your employer to put your pay on hold and ask them to pay in Oct.
