KURU2425
Hello All, My OPT expired on 07/01/2013 and my H1 denied on 06/27/2013. My attorney filed for MTR. am I in 60 day grace period now. If so, can I join as a student in university on the same sevis #. If not, do I have to take a new admission on different sevis # and join the school. For this I believe I need to cross the country and come back. In this case, do I need to have stamping as my sevis # will be different. Please let me know your valuable information and suggestions. Regards, Kuru Link to comment

You have already filed for H1 which shows that you are looking for job, F1 is not for job seekers. What's the reason for H1 denial?? Link to comment
KURU2425
Hi Rahul, Thanks for your response. We have submitted all the contracts and agreements between the employer, vendor and the client. USCIS mentioned due to insufficient evidence your H1 has been denied. Hopefully I will get the H1 on my MTR, but incase if I don't, I want to be on safe side., Regards, Kuru Link to comment
