avenki77
Hi All, My PD is May 2008 for my pending 485 (EB2-I) and I have applied for my EAD renewal (which expired in March 2012) about 1.5 weeks back at NSC, I e-filed it. I did not have to hurry to renew it immediately because I am on H1-B which is valid till early Sep. My employer has applied for H1 extension as well. H1-B extension got an RFE and is being responded. Here are my questions: Based on recent experiences, how long does it take to get the EAD approved? What will be my status post H1-B expiry till the time I get my EAD, if EAD does not come prior to H1-B expiry? Thanks in advance Link to comment

avenki77
Thanks OmShiv, When it is AOS (Adjustment of Status, I believe), is it legal to stay in the country? Also, is it legal to continue the work? Thanks Link to comment

You may continue to work on EAD once your H1B expires. Link to comment
