I am a physical therapist woring in rural area in illinois,I would liket to know if this law will be in effect this year .

 

In CIR ,Sec. 110 of the Act sets aside 4,000 immigrant visas for healthcare occupations, including nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other allied healthcare workers who work in rural or undeserved areas.

If passed without any amendments, then it should become effective from next year.
