Valid Visa and new extended i-797 - Visa Stamping Required?

Hi Friends,

My H1 visa stamp in passport is valid until Dec-2013. But i got a latest H1 extension (approved) which is valid until Mar-2014.

I am travelling to in India in Aug-2013 and returning in Sep-2013.

Now do i need to go for stamping while coming back to USA?

Is my visa stamping is still enough to enter USA?

What i need to explain at port of entry about stamping and new I-797 petetion?

If the H1B visa has not expired in the passport, and a new H1B petition has been approved to work for another employer, it is possible, in most cases, to use the old H1B visa and show the new employer’s H1B approval notice to request admission to the United States in H1b status at the port of entry to work with the employer whose name is not listed on the H1B visa in the passport.
