CAP GAP - Stop Running Pay Checks!

Hi All, 

 

I was on bench and looking for a new gig since two months. Recently my first H1b got approved and currently Im in CAP-GAP. In case If my employers stops running pay checks without revoking H1B will that cause Out-Of-Status? 

 

Please advise!

Thanks Joe. I agree with you! However I'm planning to come out of this shady consulting but I need some time.
