H4 Visa fingerprinting and stamping

Hey guys,

 

I am on H1-B visa which is expiring in Apr 2014. I am also getting married in November and will be applyng for H4 to bring my wife to US from India. I do have few questions regarding this matter.

 

1. Do I need the marriage certficate for thr finger printing process at VAC or is it only required during the interview?

2. Do I need to be preset during the interview with her?

3. Do I need to "legalize" my marriage certifcate for the interview. I read it in few blogs and am not sure why do we need to do that as it is already a legal document?

 

Please let me know if someone has gone through this process recently. Its pretty straight forwar and am sure mosy of us go through this.

1) You don't need the MC for finger printing.Take it during the interview time

2) No

3) Marriage cert will do.
