My interview went around 20-25 minutes. She is friendly and watching how i was answering her questions. I answered everything confidently as murthy forum helped me a lot. So i am doing my part now by posting my experience...... Counter #5: Me: Good morning. How r u Mam? VO: I am doing good. How about you? Me: Good. VO: Who is your employer? Me: XXX VO: What role? responsibilities? Me: Told VO:What is ur qualification? Me: Masters in CS from YYY VO: where is it? Me: Place,State. VO: How did you know about that university?( She asked this because my university is in remote place in south). Me: My friends studied there and told that university is good with lot of research going there. VO: Looks like your employer past history is not good as I see it here on my screen. In the past he has some issues. Me: Ohh.... VO: Called another lady from inside and showed her screen. They discussed some thing. Me: I should not get 221g at any cost. Praying to god. Vo: We might need to go in detail about his hisory once. Me: Puzzled. Thought i will get 221g again. I have one in masters. VO: How did you find this job? Me:My employer posted in job portal website. I applied and shortlisted. Interviewed and got selected. VO: who is your client? Where is located? Me: xxx VO: what does the client do? Me: Told VO:Do you have any intermediate company? ME: Yes and Told. VO: gave an expression like these people never change. VO: y is there a third party in between? ME: if the client has to require some one from outside. He has to go through prime vendor. VO: Does your employer know ur vendor? Me: No my client knows vendor. VO: Looks like your employer's history is not that good.( Said again). VO:Is your employer paying you twice a month? ME: Once VO: Ok. I see that he didn't pay you for some months. Looks like there are gaps. Me: I'm paid every month i have paystubs and bank statements with me. I can show you. VO: Please get pay stubs ready ready. VO: I see there is a change in status for you. Me: I changed my status from OPT to H1 last october. VO: How much does ur employer pay you? ME: xxx $ per year. VO: If you are posted to new york or california...Does he still pay you the same amount? Me: Yes as i signed agreeing to his offer. VO: Prevailing wage in New york is higher. So he has to pay u more if you are posted in new york. Me: I am about to say that my salary is still greater than prevailing wage in new york. She interupted saying i visa officer right? I know more about these....I stopped and nodded my head saying you are right. VO: Never ever do jobs for less wages. Salary needs to be changed as per prevailing wage.Know ur H1B rules. Talk to your attorney. Me: I will keep in mind what u just said. VO: Give ur pay stubs and LCA. Me: Gave VO: Whats your gross salary ? Me: Told VO: Did some calculations and asked if i am better than her at math. Me: Yes Me: You also asked for LCA. tried to give her VO: No need. VO: Are you single? Me: Yes VO: Lot of young ladies waiting for you. Me: Laughed. VO: I will keep your passport and document with me. Me: Is my visa approved? Asked with doubtful face. VO: Yes it is. VO: Gave me tracking form and H1B rules book. Me: Thank you. Thank you very much for approving my visa today. VO: Smiling. She literally drilled me. But i was slow, loud and clear answering questions. She was friendly and smiling all the time. I was smiling and confident while answering my questions. Link to comment

If its EVC, your employer will be knowing the vendor...is the third party a V in EVVC where other V is prime vendor? Thank you.. Mine is EVC model....She asked me if my employer know vendor before.
