Applying for F1 visa and married already

Hi All,

I wanted to check the possibility of getting the f1 visa stamped from india for my wife as she got I-20 from a decent university in usa.
We are planning for Fall 2013 session.
We are married for 5 years and have no kids.My wife wants to pursue masters degree in computer science as we both are working in IT for past 8 years.
Would being married gonna increase her chances to get the F1 stamped or is it a negative factor for her?

Also, She has a 10 year B1/B2 visa which was sponsored by her brother earlier this year, but never been to states.

They will possibly ask what you will be doing for 2 years? Otherwise the only risk is denial.

Dosent make any difference..your wife would get F1 on her own merits.

Wouldnt that being married proves her strong ties with india? thats the only major factor which the consulate officer is looking for?

Since she already has B2, her chances for F1 are better since they have similar standards for ties to home country
