NVC fees

Hello,

 

My wife is in the process of doing the I130 with consular processing ( she lives outside the US currently ).

 

We just received ( through our lawyer ) a notice to pay the "NVC fees".

Priority date is still not current, there is about 6 months to go ( category F2B )

 

 

From potential other people's experience, does this give an estimate of how long it will be before we are asked to provide the documentation ( police certificate, birth record, etc ... ).

Part of the reason I am asking is because we learned it will take 3 months to obtain her police certificates. I would like to know when we might want to start initiating the process of getting these.
