I-140 Approved-But Company Name changed - Can I do H1B Transfer

Hi

 

I got I-140 approved in Sept-2012 under company name A, after that in Nov-2012 there was merger between my company and Company B, after merger company is now called C. Company C has not taken any action on approved I-140 case.

 

Now I have got new job and I wanted to transfer by H1B visa (already on extension beyond 6 year) based on approved I-140. Would there be problem in transferring my H1B visa based on I-140?

 

What should I do to get smooth H1B visa transfer?

 

If I don't change the job, still does my currently company, C have to do anything with respect to change of company name?
