Verifying the H1B approval Status

Hi, 

 

I'm transferring the visa to take up a new assignment. My employer wants some document to prove that my current H1B approval is the first one & i have not had any prior approvals. How do I prove that? Which document would help on this. 

 

Please advise.

Show him your 797 and also your passport stamped pages...what a duh employer.
