Can I apply for Visa renewal from India (without traveling to USA)

Dear Friends,

My H1B Visa is going to expire on 30/9/2013. I have not traveled even once also I don’t know when my employer is going to send me. So is there any option to apply for visa renewal before travel ?

Also if at all my employer send me know, within how may days form expiry (30/9/2013) I need to apply for renewal from USA ?

When did your employer apply for your H1B? Also who paid the H1 fees? Why did you wait for so long?

Hi,

 

In October-2012 I got my petition and got stamped on 12/December/2012. My Employer has paid the fees. I am working for a service based company who has client in US. To work on client location , my Employer stamped the visa, but due to some reason not yet identified a vacancy for me, so I need to wait.

Your employer did not "stamp" a visa.
