H1 employer - work experience letter

Hi,

 

Last year I worked for H1 employer for brief amount of time(5 months). During the separation they didn't provided me work experience letter and being following with company from last two months(sent around 10 emails). I didn't see any positive response from them(got email from HR that they will provide the required letter my end of last week, after that I haven't received any kind of response from them).  How I need to proceed in this situation. Can I file a complaint with DOL? Is this an option?

They are not required to do so. A DOL complaint is not appropriate.

Nope. In USA, employers are not legally bounded for issuing experience letter. If you really want, get it from your colleagues, it will have same value.
