H1 Approved for Oct 2013 ..Can i start work from March 2014 ?

Hi 

I am currently on H4 .applied for my h1B .My H1B Approved  and i am eligible to work from oct 2013 .

 

But due to family circumstances i would like to delay working till March 2014 .

 

1) Can i start working from March 2014 .Will it affect my employer ? does he need to pay right from oct 2013?

 

2) What are my options to start work only from MArch 2014 ? 

 

3)if i travel to india in between ? which visa would i be ? my H4 visa and  I-94 IS VALID TILL OCT 2014.

 

Please help clear this as i have to take decisions based on this,

You should be getting paid starting oct 2013.If you don't want to work , go back to your home country and enter US on h4 after 1st Oct.
