Current H1B and New H1B.. Which is consider for H1B

Hi,

Currently I am on H1B till Jan-2013, and I am planning to get the extension in July 2013 in premium process. My Current Project is going to be ended in Dec-2013. If I will go to Canada for stamping after New H1B approved may be in October or November then which H1B is considerd for Stamping?

You have to use ext one, my situation was also same as you, I wen for stamping with new ext and got approval up to 2016.

 

So my suggestion is always use your Ext H1b only. You can talk to your company lawyer about this.
