Appointment date using Expired DS-160--where to update the new DS-160 #

Hi Guys,

 

I booked my H1-B stamping date back in March using the confirmation # of  D-160 but never submitted it. 

Now since it's expired i am filling a new DS-160 since I have mt appointment date in few days. 

Do I need to inform Vancouver consulate about the new DS-160 # ? or just have to update it on the Appointment page. 

 

I am not sure what to do please advise.
