rathinakumar Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 Dear Law Experts, I want to know your suggestion/opinion on my L1A visa. My L1B visa got expired on april-2012(but i had my i-94 valid till april 2014 during that time ) and i applied for l1b to l1a conversion which got approved in november 2012. My L1A individual petition is valid till june -10-2014. I am planning to go to india around sep- 2013 for vacation and stamping. When i go for stamping in sep 2013, my petition will be valid only for 10 months. Will there be any risks in getting the stamping because of this lesser duration.( i understand that stamping is approved based on case to case basis, but i would like to take your expert advise whether i need to travel earlier (or) is it ok to go around september 2013). Thanks in advance. Nitu
Attorney_23 Posted June 20, 2013 Report Posted June 20, 2013 Generally speaking, a petition valid for 10 months would not create a problem in approving the issuance of a visa.
