L2/H1B visa question

I am currently on L2 visa with EAD which is valid till July 2013. My H1B petition is approved thru Company A which will be valid from 1 Oct 2013. My spouse’s current employer Company B is applying for L1A for my spouse and L2 for me and we need to go to India for L1A/L2 Visa stamping in the first week of July.

 

1)    Can I go for L2 visa stamping even though I have an approved H1B petition.

2)    If I applied for L2, does my H1 get cancelled or will they stop L2 processing or what are the possibilities?

 

If my L2 is approved, I will travel on L2.

 

Please advise on the above. Appreciate your quick response.
