applet
Hi All, I had my visa appointment date scheduled for May 13, but had to reschedule on May 11. By the time, I already submitted my DS 160 form. Now I have my Visa appointment on Aug 1 (same location). Do I need to update the DS 160 Form (travel plan details and other details that may change)? Can I edit the already submitted DS 160 form or start over again and work a new DS 160 form? If I start with a new DS 160 form, I get a new application number. How can I link it to my visa appointment (my current appointment uses application number from DS 160 form that i filled and submitted in May)? I thank in advance for taking time to go through my questions and answering them. Thank you Link to comment
rpoligari
Hi, If you start a new DS-160 form, you will get a new application ID. Your Visa appointment date should be still good. All you have to do is , if you fill out a new DS-160 , inform the Visa Consulate about your new DS-160 confirmation number. It is not that complicated. Link to comment
applet
Thank you RPoligari, So, I need to start a new DS 160 for sure. But, I dont need to update it in the existing visa appointment and just inform the visa consulate on my date on appointment that I have a new application ID. Am I correct? just wanted to double check. Thank again for the reply. Link to comment
