farhanzaidi Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 Hi I am currently applying for a green card under the EB2 category. I am an Indian citizen but was born in Moscow, Russia. My lawyer informed me that I would be able to use Russia for chargebility purposes for my priority date. Is that true? Also unfortunately my father lost my birth certificate. I have affidavits from my parents stating that I was born in Russia and the biographic page from my passport states that I was born in Moscow. Is that good enough? I have applied for a birth certficate via the Russian consulate but that process can take months. Help
