H1B Stamping in Australia

Hello Everyone,

 

                        I am on H1B currently, Indian citizen. 2 Yrs ago i did my status change from L1B to H1B and since then i didnt travelled outside US. I am on H1B from one of the reputed firm in US. Direct and permanent employee. My company is sending me to Australia for a short training for 1 month.

 

GC Applied - I140 cleared too. Currenly on H1B extension (first extension beyond 6 years).

 

Since i would have to go to US Consulate for visa stamping in order to re-enter US.

 

1> Is it advisable to go to US Consulate in Australia?

2> Documents that would be required in this case (i have invitation letter from my company to visit Australia which clearly say why i am going to Australia).

 

 

Please suggest :)
