pre-adjudicated 485

Is there such a thing as pre-adjudicated 485?

That is the 485 is processed and just waiting for visa number to be issued GC and final adjudication will be done after visa number is available.

On this forum, at least one person got green card within 6 days of PD being current; hence, the question.

On another site, one entry indicated someone with PD 12/07 (EB2IN) has an interview scheduled for Jun 2013 even though the PD is still stuck at Sep 04.

Then there are anecdotes about people receiving RFE\communication from USCIS about their pending 485 (even though presumably the dates are not current).

 

If there are others (filed last year or earlier) pd is not current but still getting communication from USCIS about their long time pending cases, please post here.

When i filed my I485 my priority dates was not current (mistake from attorney) but they accepted my case

(I 245 beneficiary) and did all the stuffs they have to do, send rfe and denied my case because i didn't send some kind of form I485A. filed a motion, it were approved 15 days later, but they just process my case again when my PD became current

The CIS continues to work on the I485s even if the dates are not current.

I received RFE on mine last week and waiting for the mail from them.

i am tired of RFE's on employment. every time they dust off my application they send an RFE for employment letter and by the time i repsond the date retrogresses back. does an year long  gap automatically triggers an RFE or what ?. eb2-pd-april 2007.  last time they toched my appln was when they  recd my rfe response in 2012 march.should i expect an RFE when the pd may become current this july ?

so what is the online status on your 485 now a days? rfe review or something else? If you could kindly share also the RD.

I have the same experience, my I 485 got logged on the day my PD is no longer current. But they processed my application and gave me AP and EAD. I am on a roller coaster feeling whether I should celebrate it or not. Many say they will revoke my GC if they found out. How about yours? It's been 2 years since you get your GC. I appreciate your response. I am not at ease right now. My lawyer said he will just withdraw my application and re file my I 485. But it's a lot of money knowing that I have 3 other dependents. Thanks
