Waht are the options to stay in US legally if my opt got rejected

Hi ,

I have applied for stem extension. I am thinking of the worst case scenario if my opt extension got rejected what are options of staying in us legally.

I am palnning to reenter the country with new i20 and new sevis .

My questions are

1. How long my sevis will be in active state if extension is denied?

-- In my new school the semister starts from september. if suppose myextension get rejected on july .

2. When do i need to leave the country.and reenter

Your Sevis gets terminated once your extension is denied, you have 60 days grace period to leave united states.

since u had an I20 before, you are probably experienced if u travlled at that time

Please tell me what options you had and what is ur situation now. My STEM got denied earlier this week, still waiting on the letter. I have a valid visa till next year. Pls tell me what my options would be. please
