Does Time spent on F2 visa counts towards H1B maxout?

I have following situation -

I was on H1B for a period of 1 year. Then I did COS to F2 for 3 months. Then again COS back to H1B with a new employer. My question is does the time spent on F2 (3 months) still count towards max-out for H1B visa? Or can I ignore this 3 month period from my max-out count?

Any help to get this clarified would be greatly appreciated!

Time in F status does not count towards the H1 maximum. Only time in L1 and H1 are counted together.
