H4 extension- traveling outside the country

Hi,

I have applied for my wife's H4 extension along with my H1B Extension

after 6 years with I140 approved. It was one month back and still

waiting for approval.

1. If my wife leave the country before recieving the extension

approval, will it get voided?

2. If My wife leave the country and get voided her Visa extension

process, Can she appear for H4 visa with my approved (H1 B Extension)

797 document?

3. Is there any difference between appearing for H4 Visa in india with

H4 approved extension document and with H1B 797A approved document?

Will it anyhow affect green card process if her H4 Extension get

voided?

1. There will be no status to extend if she leaves and it makes no difference if she leaves before the extension as she has to return based on a valid H4 visa and your latest approved H1 petition. 2. That is what one is supposed to do. 3. H4 is not a status and does not involve a petition like H1 does.
