rajulbabu Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 My L1-A visa is stamped and valid till 18-Oct-13. I will be coming to US on 01-July-13. Can L1-A be extended/renewed while I stay in US itself OR we need to return to India and get it stamped again? Appreciate responses.
califant Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 yes. Assuming you are otherwise eligible, you can apply to extend the status of the L1A, while you are still in status in the US. The form is I129 and it has to be received by USCIS before you current visa expires.
