Hi, I went to US Toronto Consulate to get my H1b Visa Interview on May 29th, 2013 @ 10:00AM.

1) Confirmation letter and Passport Checked at Front door

2) Security Check done

3) Confirmation Letter/Pics/ Passport Checked again andasked to put all this in blue folder.

4). Entered the hall and went to window 3. The lady checked the passport/ I-797 and picture and gave me a number.

5) 10 minutes my number appeared on the screen and went to do the finger printing and after that she asked to wait for my number again.

6) After 45 minutes called by Visa Officer and asked following questions:

VO: So you are here for H1b

me: Yes

VO: How many H1 you already had?

me: Two

VO: who is you client and will you be working at Client Location?

me: xxx Client name and Yes same location.

VO: Oh so we issued your last visa as well (smiled), so you have master as well?

me: Yes

VO: from States?

me: Yes

VO than handed me a paper stating how to collect your passport "Loomies tracking instructions"

Current Status at CEAC Visa status online:-

Case Creatiion Date: May 29th, 2013

Status updated Date: June 3rd, 2013

Status: Administrative Processing

I am not sure when will I recieve my passport as the VO didnt mentioned any time line. Also, he never handed over any Blue, Pink, Green etc slips except Loomis tracking info sheet.

VO kept my passport and a copy of I-797. If anyone had the interview at the same date at Toronto consulate do reply back and let me know if they have recieved their passport yet or not?

Thanks

Ahsan

Ahsan, did you get your waybill number for your passport already? I believe they return the I797 along with the passport. I just had my interview yesterday and am waiting for the waybill number - the officer said it should take about 3-5 business days.
