Filed H1-B from India this year and wanted to go for H4 stamping followed by travel to USA on H4 during approval processing

My wife is holding a H1-B visa from a MNC and is going to travel to US in June month end. I applied for H1-B from India and my application got picked up in the lottery. Now waiting for the approval of my appication. Can I go for H4 staming in the mean time and travel to US along with my wife? Are there any problems if I do so? I appreciate if anyone can let me know the required information as soon as possible, so that I can go ahead and do H4 processing followed by stamping and travel.
