You need to ask the other company whether they prefer a new visa stamp or whether they are OK with the existing stamp were the H1 petition to be approved. Visa was not filed. A H1 petition was filed. Then you got a visa which is a physical passport stamp.
JoeF Posted May 25, 2013 Report Posted May 25, 2013 The new employer would have to file an H1 for you. When that is approved, you can travel to the US with the existing stamp AND the new approval notice.
t75 Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 You must have an approved petition from the second company. You may only enter to work when you have that in your hand but may use a valid stamping.
