saibsk7 Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 May 20th we received the H4 approval notice for my husband for 1 day may 16th to May 17th 2013. It was COS from H1 to H4 applied in Feb 2013. My H1 expires on March 12th 2016. Not sure why did they approve the notice only for 1 day. We called the uscis service center and opened two service requests. For the first ticket they said we would receive the response in 30 days and second one we saw in the murthy website for expediating based on Uscis error for which they said they would respond in 5-15 days. We made the third call to the uscis the CR said to send an mail requesting the reason for 1 day approval and amend the notice to match the H1's expiration date. Not sure he is in status or not. Please advise.
pontevecchio Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 It would have been simpler to spend some money on a Lawyer to handle what is a minor annoyance. Maybe cross the border if you are in Southern California and have him get a new I94?
