msrnk Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 Hi, My Husband's H1B Visa is expiring on 22nd May 2013 and I-94 Validity till 1st June 2013. Currently his employer filed for his extention and waiting for the Receipt. My question is, Will it be possible to inititate H4 for me while his H1B extention is pending for approval. Can I file H4 using the reciept number.

pontevecchio Posted May 24, 2013 Report Posted May 24, 2013 You need to have the extension H1 petition approved to get the H4 visa. Can he pay for PP and can he request the company that he needs you there ASAP?
