Did not get selected in H1 lottery, need suggestions on L1/ previous H1

My case did not get selected in the lottery, now I have two options for me ( I m in India)

1) Company files for L1B

2) I was in US previously for 3 years, capture 3+ years from previous H1

Can you guys suggest me which would be best option to go forward, looking at merits and demrits in both the options above?.

1. You are stuck with the company. Not many options to move employers if you want. Gets more reviews and possibly audits when it comes to extensions, especially if you are not in your own company's office and such. If you plan to work at client site, prefer not to do this.

2. Better if you can still use it in my opinion due to flexibility - get in touch with an attorney to see if it is possible. If you were eligible to capture, why was a new one filed?

You are Cap-Exempt..for L1 it has to be the same employer who can sponsor you....but for H1B any employer can sponsor you.
