sam1586 Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Hi! Here's my situation. Please review and provide your thoughts on this. Our Attorney today responded to the RFE with all required documents. I should be able to get the H1B approved with out big hassel. However, to be on safe side, I want to apply for school which can keep in status. My OPT is ending is next month, June 30th, 2013 and I have valid visa till Jun 14th, 2013. But the Fall 2013 schedule starts at this respective school from Sept 3rd. When i inquired on how can I be on status Jul 1st to Sept 3rd which school gets started. They said, we need to get the admission and get the I-20 transferred to this school before Jun 30th so that I can be on status. However, In mean time, till Sept 3rd I will be not allowed to work. Can you please confirm above details provided by the school is correct or not. Thanks in advance! -Sam
