ginnyt
Hi: I am currently on H1B working at a client site ( 40 hours ). My H1B's LCA is filed for this client site. I have a new offer to work part time for a few hours a week. I will still be getting paid through my current H1B employer. Would there be a new LCA needed for the part time work? How would that kind of work impact my existing H1B? Thanks, Ganesh Link to comment
Attorney_22
Generally, if this part-time work is with your current H1B sponsor, your sponsor should file an amended H1B petition (this includes the LCA). If however, the part-time work is with a new employer and you will be continuing to work full-time pursuant to your previously approved H1B, this new employer needs to file a concurrent employment H1B petition on your behalf.
