goodluck Posted May 15, 2013 Report Posted May 15, 2013 I resigned employer A and started with employer B. After working with employer B, want to join back employer due to some personal reasons.H1 transfer was under process with Company B and Company A has not revoked H1, so I can join back to Company A. So resigned to company B but client and employer is not happy as I worked for around 2 months and leaving them. Client not ready to negotiate notice period, so I am ready to complete notice period because client threatened they will take legal actions. They want me to work till july but then I will loose the oppurtunity with company A. I wanted to check if the Employers do not allow the employee to quit even after the 2 week notice period. Does the employee have any rights if the employer is not allowing the employee to move on inspite of following the HR Policies of the Company which is the 2 week notice period. What will happen if I dont show up after 2 week notice. What are the employee rights? Will they take legal action even if I complete notice period of 2 weeks. Thanks, Urgent
