Urgent question Regarding H1B Visa Stamping Please Help

I am on H1B first time stamping did my masters and doing job in USA I need to go to india urgently in june/july can i travel to india and come to canada for stamping and enter USA will i have be any issue in port of entry in canda or if i go to india do i need to have my stamping done in India itself. Please let me know ASAP.

Hi,

It really shouldnt matter as long as you have a H1 Visa stamp prior to entering back to the States.

All they care about is the Visa stamp.

If I were you, I would get the stamping done in the home ground than going to Canada. God forbid if things go south, you will still be comfortable being home than in a whole different country.

It is generally recommended to apply for a visa in your home country, especially if it is the first time you are applying for that type of visa.
