F1 visa expiring...OPT still valid....travel to India...Please respond

Hi,

I am currently working on my F1 visa valid till Dec 2013 and OPT (extention) is valid till May 2014. My employer will apply my H1 in Apr 2014. Meanwhile I am planning to travel India in August 2013 with F1 visa valid for 4 months from then (expires in Dec 2013).

1. Is it ok to travel to India with F1 visa validity for ONLY 4 MONTHs?????

2. Minimum of how many days should F1 visa valid for travel when OPT is still valid?????

3. Will there be any issues at port of entry and which is good option to choose as port of entry in these scenarios?????

Please input your thoughts as this is a crucial decision and let me know your suggestions.
