csch Posted May 13, 2013 Report Share Posted May 13, 2013 I returned to India in 2009 after being in US for 5.5 years in H1B. Recently I joined a new company in Jan 2013. Can I apply for L1A since I have been more than one year outside USA. I was in a managerial capacity in my old company and also a manager in the new company. Link to comment
Attorney_23 Posted May 13, 2013 Report Share Posted May 13, 2013 In order to be eligible for L1A, a foreign national must work abroad in a specialized knowledge, managerial, or executive position for at least 1 year within the past 3 years, and then transfer to a related company company in the U.S. Link to comment
