hydstar Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 Hi, I have come to US on H4 to accompany my family. Tried to get my L1 processed from my company while at India but it did not work out. I have been working for the same company for past 2.5 years. It has been 2 months since I have resigned and now the same company here in US has an opening that I can fit in. PLEASE let me know if the company can process my L1 now while I am in US and have resigned. Many Thanks!
Attorney_23 Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 To be eligible for L-1 status, a foreign national must have worked in a specialized knowledge, managerial, or executive capacity for at least 1 year within the past 3 years.
